Frequently Asked Questions

How will Real Talk function next school year in light of ongoing coronavirus restrictions?

The Real Talk curriculum is very adaptable to the virtual format, and we have continued running meetings since restrictions on gathering began.

Each Real Talk lesson guide includes a slideshow that can be screen shared on video call platforms such as Google Hangouts and Zoom. We recognize that the resources available for virtual learning vary by school and organization.

Depending on your school’s situation, you might consider beginning as a community chapter and transitioning to the school setting as students return to campus.

I want to join a Real Talk chapter, but I want to learn more about the time commitment.

As an organization, we require that each chapter meets a minimum of eight times each year. However, since every school has different frameworks for clubs, the time commitment for members varies by chapter.

We recommend that you reach out to the chapter you will join for more information. You can find the email of the chapter lead above.
